Sussex transport was recently approached by a local, well-established global company which was expanding its production facility with the addition and installation of two new production lines
After a great deal of planning, of which we were a key part of, Sussex transport undertook this operation with expertise, safety, and the right resources to achieve the install. The operation was completed on time, on budget and to the clients’ full satisfaction.
The task involved the unloading and devanning of 2 x 40ft and 1 x 20ft container using a mobile crane. Then with the assistance of a 7-ton capacity telescopic handler, we set about repositing the machines to the factory entrance. After which, we worked to skate the machines and ancillary equipment through the factory to its new home inside a clean room. Due to the low headroom, we utilised air skates to position them to their final position.
