The job? Extracting a redundant air compressor unit weighing over 1.6 tonnes from a two-storey plant room and replacing it with a brand-new system.

To carry out this lift, we deployed one of our standout vehicles, our Volvo-mounted Fassi 710 (71T/m) crane, renowned for its 360-degree lifting capacity, extended reach, and versatile power. The crane’s capability allowed us to position the lifting arm precisely over the plant room and extract the old compressor without disrupting other building operations or surrounding infrastructure.
Our fully qualified lifting team, including the appointed person, crane operator, and slinger/signaller, ensured the lift was executed safely, professionally, and within tight timeframes.
