Sussex Transport recently supported Horsham FC, two-time winners of the Sussex Transport Senior Cup, with the sourcing, delivery and positioning of a converted shipping container to be used as a new on-site club shop.
The project combined design collaboration, specialist container logistics and precise on-site positioning, resulting in a practical, cost-effective solution that was delivered ready to open.
From Concept to Club Shop
Working closely with Horsham FC, our team helped shape the design and layout of the converted container to ensure it would function perfectly as a retail space on matchdays and throughout the season. Once the specification was agreed, we worked alongside trusted partners to source a high-quality converted container that met the club’s operational needs, aesthetic requirements and site constraints.
The container was collected by Driver Rob, who transported it back to our Ford Container Yard for a full inspection and final checks before delivery. This additional step ensured the container was in perfect condition before being moved to its final location at the football ground. From there, the container was delivered to site and carefully positioned exactly where Horsham FC required it, ready for fit-out and opening.
