Sussex Transport was asked to deliver and lift three 3.5-tonne steel beams onto a temporary scaffold deck as part of a prestige construction project in the capital. What made this project unique? It took place on a Sunday morning, requiring careful planning, quiet precision, and expert coordination.
Each beam was delivered to site, craned up and over onto the scaffold platform, and then skated inside the building where the installation team were ready to connect them. The tight London environment and limited access made the lift particularly challenging—just the kind of challenge we thrive on.
