Today we took our low loader trailer (with ramps) back to a site in Hailsham to collect a
full load of plant equipment that we had previously delivered 3 weeks ago.
The load included a large excavator. A piece of heavy construction equipment
consisting of a boom, dipper, bucket and a cab on a rotating platform known as the “house”. The house sits atop an undercarriage with tracks.
We collected and transported this along with a few smaller plant items including a dumper, a roller and a mini excavator. The drivers always look forward to the collection of the plant equipment as its normally far more interesting than the delivery because whatever the project was it would almost certainly have been completed and our drivers get to see the finished result…
On this occasion the project was a 60 x 20m equestrian menage/arena that had been constructed especially for their young daughter who was following her dreams and a career in dressage… who knows, we may have helped a future champion on her road to success!!
