Sussex Transport was asked to assist a client with transporting a huge collection of books to East Africa to supply to schools and libraries as part of their charity operation. On completion of the job – we received the following email…
Dear Sussex Transport
I just wanted to say a big thanks for your help with haulage over the past couple of days. I know that your driver helped our volunteers get the pallets out of storage yesterday, so I just want to especially thank you for that. The delivery was excellent, nice and early and I hope it wasn’t any bother.
We appreciate it probably wasn’t the smoothest job you’ve ever done! But please know that we are a charity and we work with student volunteers, who give up their time to volunteer with us, and don’t always have experience in haulage! This delivery was part of a nationwide operation, and thanks to your contribution, we have now sent almost 300,000 books off to East Africa to benefit students in schools and libraries out there.
We are very pleased with the service and would certainly consider using you again next year, if you would be happy to work with us again. We would very much welcome feedback though, so we can try and improve our operations in the future and make things easier for all concerned.
