Fire Marshall / Warden Training
Course Objectives
To enable delegates to understand the relevant legislations and regulations associated with basic fire saftey awareness in the workplace including the duties and role of a fire marshall and its role in an emergency situation.
Target Delegates
This course is for delegates who wish to be trained in the role of a fire marshall and may be responsible for the safe evacuation of workplace colleagues and others and will also include workplace fire prevention.

- Fire legislation
- Basic chemistry of fire and its differing classes
- Fire fighting procedures
- Causes of fires and their prevention
- Emergency lighting
- Fixed fire fighting installations
- Evacuation assmebly points
- Fire alarms
- Fire hazard
- Safety inspections
- Fire extinguisher recognition and use (theory and practical)
Duration
1/2 Day
Certification
All delegates will receive a certificate valid for up to five years.
