Emergency First Aid at work is a qualification designed to help organisations and companies meet their minimum requirements in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1981.
Target Delegates
This course is for anyone who wishes to undertake the role of a first aider in the workplace and to teach them and give them the confidence and skills required to deal with a range of emergency situations.

How to deal with an emergency
Duties of a first aider
Infection control measures
Primary and secondary surveys
Causes of unconsciousness
CPR including the use of an AED
Choking procedures
Prevention and control of shock
Bleeding and wound management
Burns procedure
Minor injuries
Completion of accident and RIDDOR forms

Certification
On successful completion of the course each candidate will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
