Forklift / Counter Balance Training
Course Objectives
Sussex Transport | Training Division can provide either inhouse or NPORS training for various types of forklifts with the aim of ensuring every candidate completes the course with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in the workplace.
Target Delegates
This Industrial Forklift / Counter Balance training course is designed for candidates who require practical and theory training and / or assessment on an Forklift / Counter Balance Forklift Truck.
Course Content
- Health and safety legislation, as it applies to Forklift Operators.
- Theoretical knowledge of forklift operations.
- Operator's responsibilities, with regards to daily/weekly checks of machine.
- Familiarity with the equipment and use of Operator's manual.
- Safe and best practice in practical forklift operating methods.
- Correct stacking and destacking methods
- Vehicle loading and unloading
- A rigorous practical and theory based assessment.
Duration
This cousre is between 1-5 days depending on numbers and previous experience.
Certification
We can provide either NPORS or Sussex Transport | Training Division accreditation valid up to 5 years duration, each candidate is supplied with certificate and photo ID card.
Course Assessment
The assessment is both theoretical and practical.
