Last year we delivered Heras fence panels to the ‘Shakedown Festival’ in Brighton’s Stanmer Park on one of our HIAB trucks .
This year we delivered audio equipment to the one day festival on one of our 7.5t box trucks. Last year Razorlight and Ed Sheeran headlined – and this year it was the turn of Dizzee Rascal ( Bonkers ) and Professor Green (not really a Professor ) who were appearing to the expected 20,000 crowd!
Aside from the music festival, where all sorts of human life can be observed, Stanmer Park is home to a wealth of plant and animal species. Deer, badger and several species of bat live in the woods, and in spring bluebells bring a touch of colour to the woodlands. The park also includes areas of chalk grassland and copses of sweet chestnut and hazel.
Stanmer Park is also the venue for the city’s annual Springwatch festival .
