The Oxford English Dictionary made some recent additions from ‘OMG!’ ,’LOL’ and ‘ROFL’ to ‘La-La Land’ defining the city as :
la-la land n. can refer either to Los Angeles – especially with regard the film and television industry or to a state of being out of touch with reality—and sometimes to both simultaneously!
