Sussex Transport were recently asked by a client to collect and transport Air Conditioning units from Colchester and lift them onto the roof of a building in Bromley.  Using one of their HIAB vehicles made this a straight forward job which was completed with ease. As it’s European Freight side of the business expands, Sussex Transport delivered goods Portugal and Budapest last week. The capital of Hungary, Budapest is said to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and attracts 2.3 million tourists a year! Obviously keen to ensure their population get the same reputation, the Hungarian government approved the so-called hamburger tax on foodstuffs that authorities regard as unhealthy. Last week Sussex Transport delivered to Guys Hospital in London. Guy's and St Thomas' are amongst the oldest hospitals in the world, having endured the Black Death, the plague, the War of the Roses, the Great Fire of London and the Blitz. Thomas Guy was a very wealthy governor and benefactor of St Thomas'. He leased some neighbouring land to build one of the world's first institutions for the care of the 'incurably ill and hopelessly insane'. Sadly Thomas Guy died a month before Guy's Hospital
