Last week Sussex Transport made a delivery to Emsworth in Hampshire for a client on one of its fleet of HIAB vehicles.
Emsworth is situated on the border of Sussex and Hampshire, near Portsmouth & Chichester and is a small, picturesque town, locally known for its sailing and swans which return to its harbour year after year.
In the 19th century Emsworth had as many as 30 pubs and beer houses, probably to do with the fact that Emsworth was a fishing village , however there are just 9 now.
Famous for his role as Rodney in Only Fools and Horses, actor Nicholas Lyndhurst lives in Emsworth!
