Last week was a busy one for Sussex Transport. One of our HIAB trucks made a delivery toLeicester Square in London.
Leicester Squareis the centre of London’s cinema land, and it is claimed that the Square is home to the cinema with the largest screen and the cinema with the most seats (over 1600). The square often hosts major film premières and has seen the likes of the Harry Potter and James Bond film series, Avatar, Alice in Wonderland and Shrek; and co-hosts the London Film Festival each year.
Last week, David Gest and Universal Pictures co-hosted a special all-star event to celebrate the world premiere of Gest’s new film “Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon” at the Empire inLeicester Square.
In attendance were some of Michael Jackson’s brothers and sisters. Joining them at the event were more than 100 celebrities including many of the music industry’s top recording artists, motion picture and television stars, sporting legends and other well-known personalities.
