Sussex Transport, based on the Lancing Business Park in Lancing – West Sussex (with a satellite office in Surrey) supply a comprehensive range of road haulage, contract warehousing and logistics services aimed at removing client’s transport and logistics headaches.
Established in 1990, we are a family run business that has developed an excellent reputation both locally and nationally due to the quality of our fleet, our highly maintained premises, the efficiency of our team and our ability to understand the needs of our customers business through providing an exceptional customer service.
Lancing Business Park is a Business Improvement District (BID), which is a group of businesses collectively putting funds into a central pot to improve the business park. There are approximately 240 different companies on the park employing around (a staggering) 2500 people.
For the second year running, the companies on the Lancing Business Park have decided to support the Worthing Churches Homeless Project as their chosen charity for 2016.
Worthing Churches Homeless Projects believe that everyone has the right to a home, regardless of the difficulties and issues they may face in their lives. They believe in showing those who need their help that the wider community are there to support them and to offer hope for a better future. This is where Lancing Business Park can play an active role!
Our Managing Director has already volunteered his time to assist in serving breakfast for the charity and as a whole, Sussex Transport are continually filling bags with clothes and household items to raise funds for this very worthy cause. The work undertaken by Worthing Churches Homeless Projects is crucial. People who live in their accommodation receive the specialist support they need to ensure their recovery. They empower homeless or insecurely housed individuals to achieve sustainable independent living. Every night they can accommodate 58 people in their residential accommodation and a further 22 are long term residents in their independent housing.
Sussex Transport are happy to be able to support such a great, local charity as part of the Lancing Business Park.
